Join Our Cardiology Team in Coos Bay, OR
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Advanced Practice Caregiver (NP/PA) to join a thriving Cardiology service line in Coos Bay, Oregon. This facility is a 127-bed Level III Trauma hospital, the largest on the Southern Coast with a catchment area serving over 320,000 residents. You will have the opportunity to be part of a collaborative team committed to providing exceptional care to the community.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide care to cardiology patients under the supervision of the Cardiovascular Service Director.
- Maintain outpatient clinic hours from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm and Cath lab hours from 6:00 am - 4:30 pm.
- Rotate weekly between hospital and clinic duties.
- Handle 15-18 patients per day in the outpatient clinic and 6-8 patients in the Cath lab.
- Engage in outreach services to nearby critical access hospitals.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation.
- Participate in a collaborative environment with a flexible and collegial team.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified NP or PA.
- Minimum of 2 years of Inpatient Cardiology experience (not including RN or training experience).
- Must have a clean malpractice history and background.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Experience working effectively under stress and adapting to changing situations.
- Basic computer skills and a commitment to ongoing educational growth.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Oregon state license (or willing to obtain).
- Copy of NPDB self-query report at the time of application.
