Job Description
Healthcare United Cardiology Division is seeking a hospital-based Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its team of Board-certified cardiologists.
Overview:
-Provide consults and follow-up care to inpatients under cardiologist supervision.
-Care for interventional patients before and after procedures.
-Coordinate follow-up care and communicate with Hospitalists and Primary Care Providers.
-Mon-Fri schedule with rotating weekend coverage every fourth weekend, followed by weekday time off.
Requirements:
- Completion of a US Residency Program.
- Fellowship training successfully accomplished.
- Active or pending MA State License.
- Familiarity with cardiac diagnoses, procedures, and medications.
- Experience with cardiac cath patients is desirable.
- Clean malpractice record.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Strong team orientation and dedication to patient care.
- Valid license issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Valid Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate.
- Holding a Massachusetts controlled substances registration.
