We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cardiovascular Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of patient care.

Position Overview:

  • Responsibilities:
    • Perform Saphenous and radial vein harvesting procedures
    • Provide clinical support in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
    • Assist in a variety of Cardiovascular Operating Room (OR) cases, averaging 3-8 cases per week

Clinical Support:

  • Work closely with one Cardiovascular Surgeon
  • Collaborate with other APPs to optimize patient care
  • Utilize EPIC/Dragon for efficient electronic medical record keeping

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 7 am to 5 pm
    • One clinic day per week (8 am to 4:30 pm)
    • Four Inpatient/OR days per week
  • Participation in on-call rotation:
    • APPs take first call (ICU, ED, Outpatient)
    • Weeknight/Weekend Call rotation divided among three APPs
    • Vein Call rotation divided among two APPs

Requirements:

  • Advanced Practice Provider certification
  • Previous experience in Cardiovascular Surgery preferred
  • Proficiency in EPIC/Dragon or similar electronic health record systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
