Permanent need for a CRNA in Sioux City, Iowa
Job Responsibilities
Under limited supervision, performs clinical CRNA duties under the direction and supervision of the department medical director, anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other attending physicians.
CRNA’s will maintain professional credentials, clinical knowledge and skills, and physical status capable of delivering safe and effective anesthesia care to all patients treated by Mercy Medical Services.
The quality of anesthesia will be no less than that considered to be the standard of care by the ASA and AANA.
Adheres to the principles of Service Excellence Guiding Behaviors and the philosophy and mission of Mercy in all aspects of job performance.
Hospital-based
Reason for coverage: staffing changes
CRNA will be working with limited supervision
Average # of surgical cases per day: approximately 15+ out of the department (endo, cath lab, radiology, etc)
Trauma level 2
OR staffed 24/7 with RN and CST
11 operating rooms
Adult demographic
Cardiothoracic experience is preferred, but will train (including PICC lines)
Open to experienced or new grads - willing to train
