Academic medical center seeking a nurse practitioner to join their addiction medicine department in the detox unit for an evening shift 3-11pm. Job Description:
Compensation : $100000 - $130000 Job ID : 42769
Job Function:
Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.
Setting: Inpatient Detox Unit.
Patient Census: Typically 18–20 patients, with an active transition underway to downsize to 12 beds (timeline TBD).
Team Structure:
One daytime Nurse Practitioner (7:00 AM–3:00 PM).
One evening Nurse Practitioner (this role).
Two Registered Nurses and one Patient Care Assistant on shift.
Conduct attending rounds independently.
Follow established treatment protocols and standardized withdrawal pathways.
Job Requirements:
- BE/BC as Family or Adult or Psych Nurse Practitioner.
- NY State License.
- 6+ months of relevant clinical experience.
- Spanish fluency strongly preferred but not required.
