Novant Health Cancer Institute is seeking an Experienced Oncology Advanced Practice Provider to join our outpatient Medical Oncology/Hematology team of 12 providers in Wilmington, NC. Our providers are fully supported with a dedicated, onsite team of experienced nurses, pharmacists, and administrative staff. Our specialists are committed to working with you and the rest of your care team to create a personalized treatment plan that is designed with you in mind. Our expert clinicians provide the latest treatments or management of medical oncology conditions as well as hematologic conditions. We are looking for a provider that is committed to the health and wellness of the people in our community and surrounding communities by being a leader and innovator in Oncology. Our practice values consist of being patient focused, treating our patients as neighbors and each other as family. We take pride in being compassionate, caring, and honest. We support each other in patient care and with personal growth. Bone Marrow Biopsy experience preferred. This position does not require call. Clinic/Infusion Hours: M-F 7a-7p with clinics operating on Saturdays & Sundays when needed to accommodate patient care.

Qualifications

Education: Master's Degree Required. Graduate of an NCCPA accredited physician assistant program required.

Experience: One to three years of experience in Oncology required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current PA license in appropriate state Required. NCCPA Certification and current DEA registry Required. ACLS (if infusion center or cardiac specialty) Required.

Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to work with management team and physicians; demonstrated customer service skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills.
