At Groups Recover Together, we are redefining what effective, compassionate opioid use disorder (OUD) treatment looks like, bringing care directly to the communities that need it most. Since 2014, we have supported hundreds of thousands of individuals on their recovery journey through a model that combines medication for addiction treatment (MAT), group therapy, and ongoing peer support.
Job Responsibilities
-Initiate and manage buprenorphine/naloxone (Suboxone) and other medications as clinically appropriate.
-Provide rapid-access telemedicine intakes across multiple markets as needed.
-Manage an ongoing patient panel and provide monthly medical follow-up.
-Monitor patient progress, adjust medications, and address medical concerns between visits.
-Collaborate with counselors, care teams, and other medical providers to coordinate patient care.
-Support patients during the early weeks of treatment to promote successful engagement and retention.
-Provide coverage for other providers, including urgent prescription needs and on-call coverage as needed.
-Complete accurate, timely, and HIPAA-compliant medical documentation.
-Participate in provider meetings, training, and initiatives focused on improving patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Active, Individual DEA with address listed in the State in which you are applying (please note that if you intend on prescribing in multiple states, a separate DEA is required in each state in which you are planning on prescribing).
- Experience treating patients with substance use disorders preferred.
- Experience prescribing buprenorphine/MOUD preferred.
- Strong clinical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
