Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Conduct initial addiction and psychiatric admissions and evaluations
• Develop and manage treatment plans for detox and residential patients
• Perform regular rounds on detox patients and occasional rounds on residential patients
• Schedule and conduct follow-up appointments (weekly or bi-weekly)
• Provide medication management and adjustments as needed
• Be available for after-hours on-call support (1-4 calls per month on average)
• Utilize Kipu electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Additional Information:
• New York state license required
• Familiarity with addiction medicine and psychiatric care essential
• Experience in detox and residential treatment settings preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
