Join our team and make a difference in the lives of individuals struggling with mental health challenges. We are seeking a dedicated psychiatric physician assistant (PA) or psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) to join our healthcare team in Homestead, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mental health care and providing comprehensive psychiatric services to our short-term rehab and long term care patients in skilled nursing. This role is part-time, one day per week within Monday through Friday.

Compensation is fee for service (FFS). Expected compensation is estimated salary range of $31,000 to $34,000 with no cap on productivity income potential (base don a 1-day per week schedule).

Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with mental health disorders
- Prescribe and manage medications
- Provide therapy and counseling to individuals and groups (as needed)
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
- Educate patients and their families on mental health issues and treatment options
Experience
- Skilled nursing facility: 1 year (preferred)
- PMHNP or psych PA: 1 year (required)
Other Requirements
- Florida PA or NP license (required)
- Ideally looking for local candidate, bilingual Spanish preferred but not required
- Candidates with 1+ years PMHNP experience preferred
- Work location: in person
