Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) – Locum Tenens
Location: Fort Myers, Florida
Setting: Ambulatory Clinic + Inpatient Labor & Delivery
Status: Newly Opened Need
Schedule
Ambulatory / Clinic
- 2 clinic shifts per week (8-hour days)
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Inpatient / L&D
- One 24-hour call shift per week
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM, Monday–Sunday
- Covering both weekday and weekend call
Weekly Structure:
2 clinic days + 1×24-hour call
Position Highlights
- CNM works within the OBGYN team (alongside physicians)
- Combined ambulatory + inpatient role
- Clinic responsibilities include OB/GYN management, outpatient procedures, basket management
- Inpatient duties include labor management, vaginal deliveries, and assisting in C-sections
Procedures
- First assist in cesarean deliveries
- Vaginal deliveries
- IUD insertions/removals
- Nexplanon insertions/removals
Additional Details
- Patient volume: 18–20 per day
- Support staff: MAs on site
