• Job Title: Certified Nurse Midwife (AP)

• Service Setting: Ambulatory Clinic and Inpatient Hospital
• Coverage Type: Clinical Only
• Coverage Period: January 2026 – April 30, 2026
• Clinical Shift Schedule: Clinic coverage Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-Call Shift Schedule: Inpatient Labor and Delivery coverage 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
• Call Type: In-House
• Call Ratio: 1 per week

COVERAGE DATES
• Ongoing coverage from January 2026 through April 30, 2026

PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: Adult OB and GYN patients
• Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 18–20 patients per day
• Admissions: Yes
• Rounding: Included
• Phone Consults: Yes
• Case Mix: Obstetrics, Gynecology, Labor Management

FACILITY INFORMATION
• Office Equipment Available: Standard outpatient and inpatient OBGYN equipment

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Rate: Fixed daily rate with daily overtime after 8 hours and weekly overtime after 168 hours
• Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Vaginal deliveries
• First assist in cesarean deliveries
• IUD insertions and removals
• Nexplanon insertions and removals

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Certified Nurse Midwife license in Florida
• Board: Certified Nurse Midwife
• Certifications: BLS (AHA)
• Experience: Prior inpatient and ambulatory OBGYN experience required
• Other Qualifications: Participation in Florida NICA program at $5,000 level

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide ambulatory care for OB and GYN patients in clinic settings
• Manage labor and delivery patients during inpatient coverage
• Perform vaginal deliveries and assist with cesarean sections
• Manage patient baskets and clinical documentation
• Collaborate with OBGYN physicians and clinical support staff
