Health system employed medical Group is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our growing women’s health team in Daytona Beach, FL. The CNM will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for women across the lifespan, with a focus on obstetrical, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological services. This is an exciting opportunity to serve patients in a collaborative, faith-based healthcare environment, while working alongside an established team of OB/GYNs and Advanced Practice Providers.
Education and Experience Requirements
Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited nurse-midwifery program
Preferably 1–2 years of midwifery experience; outstanding new graduates with robust clinical training will also be considered
Background in labor and delivery, prenatal care, and women’s health services
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive midwifery care, including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, gynecologic, and family planning services.
Manage and support low-risk labor and delivery patients independently, collaborating with physicians for high-risk cases.
Deliver routine women’s health care, including annual exams, contraceptive counseling, and perimenopausal or menopausal management.
Participate in call rotations and hospital rounding as assigned.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, evidence-based, and compassionate patient care.
Promote health education and wellness by counseling patients and families on preventive care and disease management.
