Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center is a 921-bed hospital acute care and surgical facility that has served the Winston-Salem community since 1964 (but its origins go all the way back to 1887). Delivering more than 6,000 babies each year, the hospital is home to a 56-bed level IV NICU, maternal-fetal medicine for high-risk pregnancies and educational classes for new parents.The facility is a Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology and a NICHE Designated Hospital, and has received NCQA Physician Quality Awards and Magnet Recognition.
