Certified Nurse Midwife

Annual Salary: $130k-$150k (Varies depending on years of experience)

We have an exciting opportunity to join our client’s team as a Certified Nurse Midwife. Our client is a well-established non-profit organization.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines.
• Effectively identifies, evaluates, and addresses disease prevention and health promotion issues to provide comprehensive women's health care throughout the lifespan, with an emphasis on reproductive, gynecologic, and family-centered health education while administering quality patient care.
• Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of common gynecologic acute and chronic healthcare issues.
• Educates patients and/or families about preventive care, medical issues, and use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medications.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
• Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition.
• Participate in outpatient and hospital call.

Requirements:

• New York Certified Nurse Midwife license required
• 1 year relevant clinical experience and dedication to providing quality healthcare services
• Previous CNM experience required
• Previous experience preferred
