We are seeking multiple Midwives to join a large multispecialty group in the Bronx. This is a full-time, outpatient-only opportunity with no hospital work required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

J1 Waiver, H1B, and CONRAD 30 Waiver candidates are welcome. Visa sponsorship is available.

Position Highlights

• Work with female patients from adolescence through advanced age

• Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required

Scope of Practice

Providers will deliver comprehensive women’s health services, including:

• Well-woman exams and annual evaluations

• Preventative care and health screenings

• Fertility counseling and family planning

• Contraceptive counseling and management

• Prenatal care and pregnancy monitoring

• Management of chronic gynecologic conditions

Responsibilities

• Examine and monitor patients throughout pregnancy

• Perform abdominal and transvaginal ultrasounds

• Conduct prenatal and in utero screenings

• Educate patients on disease prevention, hygiene, and overall health management

• Counsel patients on family planning and contraceptive options

• Manage high-risk or abnormal pregnancies (as appropriate to outpatient scope)

• Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians and other providers for coordinated care

• Maintain current licensure and complete continuing education requirements

• Document all encounters accurately in the electronic health record

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a Nurse Practitioner program (WHNP or CNM required)

• Current New York State license as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) or Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)

• National Board Certification required (AANP, ANCC, or Gynecology Nursing Certification Corporation as applicable)

• EMR/EHR experience preferred

• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus

• New graduates encouraged to apply
