About the Facility & Community
Located in Rosebud, SD, this 35-bed comprehensive medical/surgical hospital is the primary source of healthcare for members of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe living on and around the reservation.
The hospital’s mission is to raise the physical, mental, social, and spiritual health of American Indians and Alaska Natives to the highest level, providing culturally respectful care in a rural setting where providers play a vital role in the community.
What You’ll Do
As a CNM or WHNP, you will provide outpatient women’s health services and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team.
Primary Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, and chronic conditions

Perform comprehensive physical exams for adult patients

Provide women’s health and midwifery services

Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care

Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Deliver culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population

Qualifications:

Certified Nurse Midwife or Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner

Board Certified or Board Eligible

Available for a minimum 6-month assignment
