Ohio - Certified Nurse Midwife

  • Ohio health system welcomes you to be part of their dedicated team serving patients in northern Ohio. They are seeking two, full-time certified nurse midwives to join their well-established practice adjacent to the Hospital.
  • See women in all stages of pregnancy, childbirth and post-delivery
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
  • Counsel and educate patients
  • Perform diagnostic tests and procedures
  • Connect patients with community resources and referrals
  • Manage dynamics and intervention techniques for prenatal situations

Requirements:

  • Two years of CNM experience preferred
  • Licensure and certification through the American Midwifery Certification Board REQUIRED
  • Demonstrated expertise and technical competency in medical care of pregnant women
  • Knowledge of substance abuse and diabetic programs, perinatal education
  • Express empathy and understanding with patients
  • Work autonomously and as part of interdisciplinary team
  • Currently 1:4 call, will be 1:5
