We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate bilingual Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team at our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Omaha, NE. As a Certified Nurse Midwife, you will provide exceptional care to our diverse patient population, ensuring the highest standard of care throughout the entire birthing process.

Salary: $92,000 - $128,000/year (depending on experience)

Certified Nurse Midwife Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough prenatal, labor, and postpartum assessments and provide individualized care plans for expectant mothers.
  • Certified Nurse Midwife will perform deliveries, providing both emotional and physical support during labor and childbirth.
  • Administer medications and perform medical procedures as required, ensuring the well-being of both the mother and newborn.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Certified Nurse Midwife will educate patients on prenatal and postnatal care, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
  • Provide bilingual support in English and Spanish to effectively communicate with our diverse patient population.

Certified Nurse Midwife Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Nurse Midwife by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's degree in Nurse-Midwifery.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
