• Position Type: Locum tenens CRNA
• Location: Fortuna, California
• Setting: Inpatient hospital anesthesia coverage
• Schedule: Ongoing coverage with a minimum of 5 shifts per month; additional shifts may be available
• Call: 24-hour weekend call support
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $8,320 - $8,770
• Start Date: December 1, 2026
• Duration: Ongoing
• Openings: 2
• Patient Volume: Approximately 7-10 patients per shift

CRNA Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of CRNA experience required
• Active advanced practice license required
• Board certified or board eligible
• BLS certification required
• DEA required
• Experience with general anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients
• Experience with spinal anesthesia and regional anesthesia surgery
• Ability to perform central line placement and arterial line placement
• Clean clinical file preferred
• Must be able to provide current CV and references promptly

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for inpatient surgical cases
• Support a diverse case mix including orthopedic, pediatric, regional, and thoracic procedures
• Deliver general, spinal, and regional anesthesia as indicated
• Perform central line and arterial line placement when needed
• Work collaboratively with the care team to support efficient surgical flow
• Maintain accurate documentation and deliver patient-focused anesthesia care
• Participate in ongoing coverage with reliability and professionalism
