Job description

Job description One full-time CRNA needed for ongoing coverage, with an October or November start. Minimum 1-month commitment; 3 months preferred, with bookings up to 6 months. $230/hour plus travel and lodging. Round-trip flight, rental car, and lodging may be provided.

Job Responsibilities

Provide independent anesthesia care for general, podiatry, orthopedic, GI, urology, eye, vascular, and occasional pain cases. OB is required; the hospital averages approximately 250 deliveries per year. Patient population is mainly adults, with healthy pediatric patients age 8 and older.

Qualifications

Active Texas license and ACLS, BLS, and PALS required. Must be able to practice independently; new graduates are not accepted. EMR systems include SIS and Meditech. Temporary privileges may be available in approximately 2 weeks.

Working Hours

Choose either Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. (5x8s), or Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (4x10s). Beeper call begins at 3:00 p.m.; maximum one weeknight per week and one weekend per month. Call response time is 30 minutes.
