Opportunity:
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia
Job Details:
Provide anesthesia coverage in hospital operating rooms, endoscopy unit, cardiac lab, and ambulatory surgery centerPosition is seeking 2-3 FTEs for an ongoing assignment
No call required for CRNAs; one CRNA in house for evenings, nights, and weekends
Position is supervised with MDs overseeing at a 1:4 ratio and 1:2 ratio for cardiac cases; must be able to function independently as the MD is not always in the room
Patient demographic includes adult, geriatric, and patients 16 and older
Support staff includes scrub techs, RN circulators, and anesthesia techs
Facility has 15 main operating rooms and 4 ambulatory surgery center rooms
Blocks are not required
Trauma Level 2 facility
EMR system: Epic
All travel will be reimbursed
Client will consider locum, locum to perm, and permanent candidates
Active New York State License required
NBCRNA certification required
