Job Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for various surgical procedures including general surgery, endoscopies, joint surgeries, and emergency cesarean sections.
• Provide anesthesia care for pediatric patients in dental, ENT, and orthopedic surgeries.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, obstetricians, and emergency department physicians, to ensure optimal patient care.
• Fulfill call obligations with flexibility, maintaining readiness to respond to immediate anesthetic needs.

Qualifications

• Active Alaska state license required.
• Must have current ACLS certification.
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR systems.
• Prior clinical activity within the last 24 months evidenced by case logs.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Evening and weekend call rotation, currently on a 2 on/2 off basis.
