The facility operates under medical direction with strong physician support, ensuring CRNAs work collaboratively alongside attending physicians in a well-structured team environment.Opportunity:
Advanced Practice (CRNA) - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)Job Details:
- Locum Tenens opportunity, ASAP start with ongoing need
- Shifts are 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
- Position operates under medical direction; CRNAs work as true backup call to the attending physician
- Attending physician is first call for OR cases and OB; CRNA is called when backup is needed
- May be asked to perform backup call as needed
- Must have an active Missouri license - licensed in MO only
- Must have an active CSR - required
- Must have an active state DEA number
- Board certification required; ACLS certification required
- Estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days; credentialing documents must be submitted within 7 days of bid acceptance
- Provider must reside 90+ miles from the facility
- Required surgical types include: Complete Orthopedic, Head and Spine, Neuro, Pediatric, Regional, and Thoracic
- Administer general anesthesia for adult, pediatric, neonatal, and trauma patients
- Perform spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia
- Manage obstetrical and neurosurgical anesthesia cases including head and spine
- Handle thoracic cases (excluding open heart) and complex orthopedic cases
- Apply pain management techniques including post-op epidural and post-op extremity blocks
- Perform epidural steroid injections for lumbar and cervical regions
- Perform transforaminal procedures for both lumbar and cervical regions
- Utilize x-ray guidance in performance of blocks
- Manage ventilation and evaluation of acute volume/blood pressure issues
- Perform central line, arterial line, and PA catheter placement
- Each bid must include: phone number, active license number, active state DEA number, email, address, and date of birth
