Locum Tenens CRNA Jobs – General / Acute Care in Lexington, Kentucky
Seeking a locum tenens CRNA opportunity in Lexington, Kentucky? Join a busy Level I trauma hospital and provide high-quality anesthesia care in a collaborative, high-acuity clinical setting with a consistent full-time schedule.
Job Details
- Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Specialty: General / Acute Care
- Location: Lexington, Kentucky
- Start Date: September 21, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks with extension potential
- Schedule: Full-time, 4 shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $7,660 – $8,070
- Setting: High-acuity hospital environment
- Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, pediatrics, geriatrics, and infants
- EMR: Epic preferred
- Additional Notes: Level I trauma experience required; no OB and no heart cases
Job Requirements
- Current NBCRNA certification
- Active Kentucky CRNA license or willingness to obtain licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of CRNA experience required; new graduates will not be considered
- Recent experience in a large medical center or acute care hospital setting
- Level I trauma experience required
- Strong skills in intubation, central line placement, arterial line placement, and line placement
- Ability to work in a medically directed anesthesia model
- Comfortable providing anesthesia care across a broad age range
- COVID-19 and flu vaccination required, with medical or religious exemptions only
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services for orthopedic, trauma, vascular, and neuro cases
- Support a high-volume surgical services department with varying daily patient volumes
- Perform airway management and invasive line placement as needed
- Work collaboratively with anesthesiologists, anesthesia techs, and other clinical team members
- Deliver safe, efficient, patient-centered anesthesia care in a high-acuity environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and utilize Epic EMR when applicable
- Contribute to a streamlined, team-based care model focused on quality outcomes
