Locum - Anesthesiology - CRNA

Job Title: Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Detroit, MI

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver anesthesia care for a variety of inpatient surgical procedures, including general surgery, neurosurgical cases, and deep sedation/MAC.
• Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff, including RNs, surgical technologists, and anesthesia technicians.
• Provide preoperative assessments and patient education.
• Administer anesthetics safely and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures.
• Manage ventilation and oversee physician-administered regional anesthesia.
• Respond to patient emergencies in coordination with the healthcare team.
• Document patient care and anesthesia management accurately in Epic EMR.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Work day shifts only (8, 10, or 12 hours) with no on-call or weekend requirements.

Qualifications:

• Not accepting new graduate candidates.
• Must have current NBCRNA certification and BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
• Fully licensed providers only; not for candidates awaiting state license.
• Locum coverage only; this position is not for permanent hire.
• Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate.

License and Certification Requirements:
