Job Title: Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Detroit, MI

Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver anesthesia care for a variety of inpatient surgical procedures, including general surgery, neurosurgical cases, and deep sedation/MAC.
- Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff, including RNs, surgical technologists, and anesthesia technicians.
- Provide preoperative assessments and patient education.
- Administer anesthetics safely and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures.
- Manage ventilation and oversee physician-administered regional anesthesia.
- Respond to patient emergencies in coordination with the healthcare team.
- Document patient care and anesthesia management accurately in Epic EMR.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Work day shifts only (8, 10, or 12 hours) with no on-call or weekend requirements.
Qualifications:
- Not accepting new graduate candidates.
- Must have current NBCRNA certification and BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
- Fully licensed providers only; not for candidates awaiting state license.
- Locum coverage only; this position is not for permanent hire.
- Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – [REQUIRED]

- NBCRNA Board Certification – [REQUIRED]
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications (AHA) – [REQUIRED]
- Clean Malpractice/License History – [REQUIRED]
