You will operate within a Care Team Model with a 4:1 staff ratio, supported by dedicated anesthesia aides, ensuring smooth workflow and optimal patient care.

Required Skills:
- Valid RN license issued by the Minnesota Board of Nursing
- Certified as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the Minnesota Board of Nursing
- Minimum of 1 year of anesthesia experience
- ACLS and BLS Tier 2 certifications at the time of hire
- Ability to work a minimum of 2 consecutive weeks per month, totaling at least 36 hours per week during the initial three months
- Proficient in Epic EMR
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to support a variety of specialized procedures
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in a Level III tertiary care hospital
- Familiarity with the Care Team Model and intraoperative support
- Willingness to participate in occasional overnight and weekend shifts
- Prior experience with specialized care patients aged 12+
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Nursing (BSN or MSN)
- At least 1 year of recent anesthesia practice in a hospital setting
- Credentialing completed within 90-120 days
Other Requirements:
- Must reside at least 50 miles from Abbott Northwestern hospital
- Willing to support scheduled shifts, including potential beeper call on weekends and weeknights (not mandatory but available)
- Compliance with all state, federal, and local licensing and certification requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some overtime at 1.5x the rate and recognized holidays
