Job description JOB OVERVIEW
• Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
• Job Type: Locum Tenens
• Location: Hanover, PA
• Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient
• Coverage Type: Clinical Only
• Coverage Period: May 1, 2026 – Ongoing (Initial 1-year contract)
• Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

COVERAGE DATES
• Starting May 1, 2026
• Initial 1-year assignment with potential extension
• Full-time coverage, 40 hours per week

PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: Adolescents and Adults
• Patient Volume/Census: 6–15 patients per day
• Case Mix: Outpatient surgical cases including ortho, gyn, eyes, endo, ENT, dental, and general

FACILITY INFORMATION
• EMR System: Epic
• Office Equipment Available: Standard anesthesia equipment
• Specialty Backup Available: Yes
• Support Staff Available: Surgical and anesthesia care team
• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
• Temporary Privileges Available: Limited; case-by-case for urgent needs
• Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 90 days (expedited review possible)

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered per client policy

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Administration of anesthesia for outpatient surgical procedures
• Monitoring patients pre, intra, and post procedure
• Participation in care team model

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Pennsylvania license required
• Board: NBCRNA certification required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Experience: Prior CRNA experience preferred
• Other Qualifications: Ability to work independently in an ambulatory surgery setting

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide anesthesia services for a variety of outpatient procedures
• Monitor patient status throughout perioperative care
• Collaborate with surgeons and clinical staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR
• Adhere to all facility protocols and safety standards
