Locum Tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Position Type: Locum Tenens
Specialty: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Location: South Carolina
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 40 hours/week
Position Details:
Patient Population: Adolescents and Adults (12+ years old, 95% adults, 5% pediatrics)
Setting: Small community hospital with 7 ORs and one endoscopy suite, including an on-campus outpatient surgery center
Responsibilities:
- Provide anesthesia care for OR and out-of-OR cases (ortho, spine, gyn, eyes, plastics, general, GI, CV/TEE, MRI coverage as needed)
- Manage acute volume/BP issues, ventilator management, arterial line placements
- Work in a medical-directed ACT model (4:1 ratio)
Required Procedures: General anesthesia, Spine anesthesia, Vent management, Evaluation/management of acute vol/BP issues, Arterial line placements
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: Standard perioperative support staff available
Days Per Month: Monday – Friday
On-Call/Weekends: TBD
Submission Requirements:
- Active South Carolina License (must have clean background, no exceptions)
- Board Certification (NBCRNA)
- ACLS, BLS, PALS (all AHA required)
- Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience
