Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and independent Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide comprehensive anesthesia services across a broad range of clinical and surgical settings. This role offers the opportunity to practice at the full scope of anesthesia care, including general, regional, neuraxial, and acute care anesthesia.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, the ability to practice autonomously, and a collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary clinical teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive pre‑anesthesia assessments, including evaluation of medical history, physical examination, laboratory results, and diagnostic studies
Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans aligned with patient condition and procedural requirements
Administer anesthesia services, including:
General anesthesia
Regional anesthesia
Neuraxial anesthesia (spinal and epidural)
Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC)
Manage all phases of anesthesia care, including induction, maintenance, and emergence
Perform airway management procedures, including mask ventilation, supraglottic airway placement, and endotracheal intubation
Perform and assist with ultrasound‑guided regional nerve blocks and other pain management techniques
Establish and manage intravenous access and invasive monitoring as clinically indicated, including arterial line placement
Continuously monitor and interpret patient physiological data (cardiac, respiratory, and hemodynamic) and make real‑time clinical adjustments
Identify, manage, and respond appropriately to anesthesia‑related complications and perioperative emergencies
Provide post‑anesthesia assessments and ensure safe and effective patient handoff to recovery or critical care teams
Maintain complete, accurate, and timely anesthesia documentation in compliance with clinical, legal, and regulatory standards
Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Participate in quality assurance activities, peer review, and ongoing performance improvement initiatives
Adhere to professional standards, patient safety protocols, and organizational policies
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program
Current CRNA certification through NBCRNA
Active Registered Nurse (RN) and CRNA/APRN licensure in good standing (or license-eligible)
Active DEA registration
Demonstrated ability to practice independently within the full scope of CRNA practice
Working Hours
Full‑Time
Day shifts are standard, with variable start and end times based on surgical schedules
Coverage may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and on‑call rotation, depending on staffing needs and clinical requirements
Shift length may vary and can include 8‑, 10‑, 12‑, or extended‑hour shifts
Opportunities for schedule customization may be available based on availability and organizational needs
