JOB OVERVIEW
• Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
• Job Type: Locum Tenens
• Location: Minneapolis, MN
• Service Setting: Acute Care Hospital
• Coverage Type: Clinical + Call
• Coverage Period: August 10, 2026 – Ongoing
• Clinical Shift Schedule: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM start; end times vary)
• On-Call Shift Schedule: Optional weeknight and weekend call
• Call Type: Beeper
COVERAGE DATES
• Starting August 10, 2026
• Ongoing assignment (initial contract approximately 4 months)
• Full-time coverage: 40 hours per week
• Minimum 2 weeks per month required
• First 3 months require two consecutive weeks per month
PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Admissions: Yes
• Rounding: Included
• Phone Consults: Yes
• Case Mix: General anesthesia in tertiary care setting
FACILITY INFORMATION
• Trauma Level: Level III/IV
• EMR System: Epic
• Office Equipment Available: Standard anesthesia equipment
• Specialty Backup Available: Yes
• Support Staff Available: Care Team Model (4:1) with 24-hour anesthesia support staff
• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
• Credentialing Timeline: 90–120 days

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Minnesota RN and CRNA licensure required
• Board: NBCRNA certification required
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required
• Other Qualifications: Must reside 50+ miles from facility; Epic experience required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide anesthesia services within a care team model
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams
• Manage perioperative patient care
• Participate in optional call coverage if applicable
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
