Job Responsibilities
• Provide pre-anesthesia evaluations and post-anesthesia monitoring
• Perform general, regional, and IV anesthesia techniques
• Respond to emergency situations and anesthesia-related codes
• Collaborate with physicians, OR staff, and care teams
• Ensure compliance with clinical and safety standards
Qualifications
• Active Iowa license (or willingness to obtain)
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience with both adult and pediatric cases – Required
• Clean malpractice history preferred
Working Hours
• On-call rotation 1:4 (including weekends)
Skills
• Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
• Ability to manage diverse surgical cases
