Locums – Greensboro, North Carolina | CRNA Float Pool Opportunity

Clinical Role

Join a high-volume, well-supported anesthesia team in a flexible float pool role. This opportunity is ideal for experienced CRNAs who enjoy variety in cases and working across multiple settings within a large hospital system.

Start Date: June 15, 2026
End Date: December 18, 2026
Contract Length: 6 months (26 weeks)

Position Highlights:

  • Full-time role with consistent weekday schedule (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

  • Float position across multiple departments and sites

  • High-priority coverage on Mondays and Fridays

  • Exposure to a wide variety of cases in a large OR setting

  • Willing to license (compact license only)

Schedule & Coverage

  • 5x8 schedule (full-time required)

  • 30-minute unpaid lunch

  • Flexible scheduling required (no consecutive days guaranteed)

  • Coverage need: approximately 4–5 shifts per month

Clinical Details & Case Mix

  • Setting: Hospital-based anesthesia department

  • Patient population: All ages

  • Case volume: 60+ cases per day across departments

Facility Overview:

  • 20 ORs: general, ortho, GYN, ENT/eyes, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, neuro, trauma

  • 5 NORA sites: IR, EP, Endoscopy, MRI

Skills & Experience:

  • Preferred experience in vascular, neuro, and pediatrics

  • Cardiac exposure helpful but not required

Support & Technology:

  • Care model: Medical Direction

  • EMR: Epic

  • Equipment: Dräger anesthesia machines, Philips monitoring

Requirements

  • Board Certified CRNA (NBCRNA) required

  • Active North Carolina license required (or compact license; willing to license)

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience required (no new graduates)

  • ACLS & PALS certifications required

  • Must be comfortable floating between departments
