Locums – Greensboro, North Carolina | CRNA Float Pool Opportunity
Clinical Role
Join a high-volume, well-supported anesthesia team in a flexible float pool role. This opportunity is ideal for experienced CRNAs who enjoy variety in cases and working across multiple settings within a large hospital system.
Start Date: June 15, 2026
End Date: December 18, 2026
Contract Length: 6 months (26 weeks)
Position Highlights:

Full-time role with consistent weekday schedule (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

Float position across multiple departments and sites
-
High-priority coverage on Mondays and Fridays
-
Exposure to a wide variety of cases in a large OR setting
-
Willing to license (compact license only)
Schedule & Coverage
-
5x8 schedule (full-time required)
-
30-minute unpaid lunch
-
Flexible scheduling required (no consecutive days guaranteed)
-
Coverage need: approximately 4–5 shifts per month
Clinical Details & Case Mix
-
Setting: Hospital-based anesthesia department
-
Patient population: All ages
-
Case volume: 60+ cases per day across departments
Facility Overview:
-
20 ORs: general, ortho, GYN, ENT/eyes, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, neuro, trauma
-
5 NORA sites: IR, EP, Endoscopy, MRI
Skills & Experience:
-
Preferred experience in vascular, neuro, and pediatrics
-
Cardiac exposure helpful but not required
Support & Technology:
-
Care model: Medical Direction
-
EMR: Epic
-
Equipment: Dräger anesthesia machines, Philips monitoring
Requirements
-
Board Certified CRNA (NBCRNA) required
-
Active North Carolina license required (or compact license; willing to license)
-
Minimum 1–2 years of experience required (no new graduates)
-
ACLS & PALS certifications required
-
Must be comfortable floating between departments
