Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Opportunity in La Grande, Oregon

You're stepping into a high-impact CRNA role supporting a close-knit surgical services program at a respected community hospital. This is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) opportunity designed for clinicians who value autonomy, variety, and a steady case mix. If you're looking for strong total compensation with a schedule built around work-life balance, let's talk.

Practice Overview

  • Hospital-employed CRNA role at a 25-bed critical access hospital with Level IV trauma coverage
  • You'll work alongside a small anesthesia team (MD anesthesiologist plus CRNAs) with a collaborative model
  • Broad case mix supporting surgery and OB; procedures across multiple OR and endoscopy suites
  • Epic EMR; strong perioperative footprint with dedicated pre/post-op and PACU space

Schedule

  • Preferred schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week
  • Call includes call-back pay (details shared during a quick call)
  • Mix of OR and endoscopy coverage, with OB support as needed
  • Built-in time off by virtue of the schedule, plus additional PTO options

Compensation & Benefits

  • Total compensation opportunity up to $390K, including base salary plus quality incentives (up to $40K)
  • $30,000 commencement bonus (includes relocation support) plus call-back pay
  • $8,000 annual CME allowance + paid CME time (including 40 paid CME hours) and licensing support
  • Student loan repayment ($1,000/month paid to lender), 401(k) match, and paid malpractice with tail coverage

Candidate Requirements

  • CRNA certification required; board certified or board eligible
  • Comfort practicing in a rural community environment with broad general anesthesia responsibilities
  • Open to experienced clinicians and future new graduates (timing dependent)
  • No visa sponsorship available

Community & Location Highlights

  • La Grande offers small-town ease with quick access to outdoor recreation in Northeast Oregon
  • Enjoy four-season activities; hiking, skiing, fishing, and wide-open spaces close to home
  • More attainable housing costs than many metro areas, with a relaxed commute
  • Regional travel access available; ask for details on the closest airport options
