Position Summary
The CRNA provides high-quality anesthesia care in a busy hospital environment, practicing independently to the top of licensure. You’ll support a broad surgical caseload across multiple specialties while working collaboratively with surgical and perioperative teams.
Job Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia for patients undergoing procedures in General Surgery, Orthopedics, GYN robotics, Urology, Podiatry, Pulmonology procedures, gastroenterology and more.
Perform advanced anesthesia procedures including:
• Central venous catheter placement
• Arterial catheter placement
• Spinal and epidural anesthesia
• Ancillary brachial plexus and other regional nerve blocks
Conduct pre‑anesthesia patient evaluations and develop anesthesia plans.
Monitor and manage patients’ anesthetic care throughout procedures and in recovery.
Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists (as dictated by facility practice), nursing staff, and other care team members.
Participate in on‑call coverage as needed.
Qualifications
Current NBCRNA certification required (or in process if recent graduate).
Active Arizona nursing license (or eligible).
BLS and ACLS certification (preferred).
Experience with regional blocks and advanced airway management.
Ability to function independently and make critical perioperative decisions.
