Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and play a vital role in delivering high-quality anesthesia care across diverse medical settings. In this role, you will provide anesthesia support at multiple facilities within a 50-mile radius, including hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers in Lexington, Irmo, and Northeast Columbia. You will work a full-time schedule, rotating between OR, ASC, IR, Cath Lab, OB, MRI, and other units, with a focus on supporting a large department comprising 70 CRNAs and 15 anesthesiologists. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, with options for 5x8, 3x12, or 4x10 shifts, and a requirement to work four weeks per month. You may travel up to once or twice weekly to different surgery centers, and cases typically involve approximately 150 anesthetics daily from GYN, ortho, urology, and vascular procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia for adult and geriatric patients, with minimal pediatric cases.
- Collaborate with anesthesia techs and other staff members to ensure safe, effective patient care.
- Utilize advanced equipment including GlideScope video laryngoscopes, Alaris infusion pumps, and Draeger anesthesia machines.
- Support a variety of surgical and diagnostic procedures across multiple departments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Active CRNA certification and valid state license (compact license accepted).
- Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia practice experience.
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS (PALS preferred but not mandatory).
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system is highly preferred.
- Ability to work full-time, including rotating to different sites and travel as needed.
- Strong team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in diverse settings or multiple anesthesia platforms.
- Familiarity with advanced anesthesia equipment.
- Prior experience in ambulatory surgery centers.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
- At least 2 years of recent anesthesia practice in a hospital or surgical center setting.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to obtain state license or network with existing compact license.
- Clear background check and credentialing process (~60-90 days).
- Availability to work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Ability to support up to approximately 150 cases daily across multiple sites.
