Job description
ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide independent anesthesia services for general surgical and endoscopy procedures in a hospital setting. The CRNA will work day shifts with remote anesthesiologist supervision and no on-call responsibilities. This assignment primarily supports vacation coverage while maintaining consistent anesthesia coverage for operating room and endoscopy cases.

Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Details / Responsibilities
-
Provide independent anesthesia care with remote supervision by an anesthesiologist.

Deliver anesthesia services for procedures in the Operating Room (OR) and Endoscopy (Endo) units.

Administer and manage anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients across a variety of surgical procedures.

Perform and manage the following anesthesia techniques:
-
General anesthesia for surgical procedures
-
Minor nerve blocks
-
IV regional anesthesia
-
Plexus anesthesia
-
Spinal anesthesia
-
Epidural anesthesia
-
Regional anesthesia
-
Local infiltration
-
-
Manage ventilation and airway support during procedures.
-
Document cases using EPIC EMR.

Work collaboratively with registered nurses (RNs) and surgical technicians assigned per procedure.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Board Certified CRNA (AANA) – Required
-
Active Michigan State License – Required
-
BLS and ACLS Certifications – Required

Ability to work independently with remote anesthesiologist supervision

Experience providing anesthesia for general surgery and endoscopy procedures

Local provider only
-
Clean malpractice and license history – Highly preferred
-
NPDB Self-Query Report required at submission (must be dated within 30 days).
