Setting: Acute Care Hospital
EMR: Epic
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts
- Start time 7:00 AM
- Possible shifts: 7a–3p, 7a–5p, or 7a–7p
- No call required
Patient Population:
Pediatrics (2+), adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Cases & Skills Required:
- General anesthesia
- Regional anesthesia (spinals, epidurals)
- C-sections / OB spinals
- Monitored anesthesia care (MAC)
- Advanced airway management (difficult airway, LMA, intubation)
- Ventilator management and IV sedation
- Pre-op assessment through PACU management
- Ability to manage anesthesia complications and intraoperative emergencies
