Setting: Level II Trauma Center
EMR: Cerner
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Call required
- Additional coverage windows:
- 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM (limited OR coverage)
- 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Trauma + backup call)
- Weekend call: Sat/Sun 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Practice Model:
- Medical supervision (100%)
- ~11 anesthetizing sites
- Anesthesiologists personally provide anesthesia ~20% of the time
Cases:
Cardiac, thoracic, OB, ortho, neuro, trauma, general surgery, GI, vascular, outpatient surgery, TEE, podiatry, plastics, OMFS, ENT, urology, spine, and endoscopy.
