Locums – Fredericksburg, Virginia | CRNA Float Pool Opportunity

Position Overview:
Join a dynamic anesthesia team in a high-acuity, Level II Trauma setting with diverse case exposure and flexible scheduling options. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced CRNAs seeking a 6–12 month contract with consistent hours and strong clinical variety.

Assignment Details:

• Start Date: May 11, 2026

• 6- or 12-month contract preferred

• 36–40 hours per week

• Blocked schedule Monday–Wednesday (3x12s, 7a–7p)

• Schedule runs Sunday–Saturday and is built 8 weeks in advance

• Ability to submit up to 3 schedule requests per 8-week schedule (not guaranteed)

• Scheduler collaborates directly with CRNA to confirm call and weekend dates

• Must be available for one weekend shift (7a–7p)

• One call shift per 8-week schedule: either 7p–7a overnight or weekend call (8a–3p)

• Beeper call coverage allowed for nightly or weekend call

• One holiday shift required (paid at 1.5x hourly rate)

Clinical Environment:

• 4:1 supervision model

• Start day at Ambulatory Surgery Center and flex to main facility as needed

• Credentialed at main OR, 4-OR satellite hospital, and 6-OR ASC with occasional floating

• Level II Trauma designation

• Heavy OB, thoracic, EP, and vascular case mix

• All cases except transplants

• Exposure includes hearts, lungs, healthy pediatric dental/ENT, OB, ortho, GI, ENT, and more

• OB and thoracic experience required

• Must be comfortable with healthy pediatrics

• CRNAs perform their own epidurals and spinals (no blocks)

• Must be proficient in spinal and epidural placement and management

• Level II trauma experience required

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience

• Board Certified – NBCRNA
  Active VA License Required

• BLS Required
