JOB OVERVIEW

  • Coverage Period: Apr 27, 2026 Ongoing (Minimum 4-week commitment)
  • Clinical Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7a 7p or 7p 7a) COVERAGE DATES

PATIENT INFORMATION
  • Patient Demographics: Neonates, Pediatrics, Adults
  • Case Mix: Obstetrics anesthesia including high-risk OB; pediatric and neuro head cases

FACILITY INFORMATION
  • Trauma Level: Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Office Equipment Available: Standard anesthesia and operating room equipment
  • Specialty Backup Available: OB, Surgery, and hospital specialty teams
  • Support Staff Available: Anesthesia care team within a supervised model
  • Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
  • Credentialing Timeline: AZ Licensed ~6 weeks | IMLC ~2 months | Non-Licensed ~3 months

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Not Covered (must be built into rate) REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • Obstetric anesthesia management including epidural and spinal techniques
  • Airway management and general anesthesia for surgical procedures
  • Anesthesia care for pediatric and neuro head cases

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses: Active AZ license or willingness to obtain
  • Board: Board Certified CRNA within the last 5 years
  • DEA: Not Required
  • Certifications: Current applicable anesthesia certifications
  • Experience: Minimum 12 years recent CRNA hospital experience with OB exposure
  • Other Qualifications: Must be comfortable managing high-risk OB cases and flexible with day, night, and weekend shifts

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide anesthesia services for obstetric and surgical patients within the hospital setting
  • Deliver anesthesia care for labor and delivery, including high-risk obstetric cases
  • Collaborate with physicians and the anesthesia care team in a supervised model
  • Monitor patients throughout anesthesia administration and recovery
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the facility EMR
