Work Details:
- Support staff: CRNA, Anesthesia Tech, Anesthesiologists. Will be directed by Anesthesiologist (General ratio 1:2 anesthesiologists to 1 CRNA and 1 resident, can be up to 1:4 anesthesiologists to CRNA for low acuity) CRNAs are medically directed, typically 2-1, or 3-1. The Attending usually has a Resident in the other room, so their primary focus is on that room, and on teaching.
- Amount of coverage needed per month: Full time, 4 x 10/week, 6 months
- Patients per day: Depends, 1-9/daily
- Patient population/age: All age spans (no Neonatal)
- Department description: CRNA would cover the following: Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, Neuro (No Heart)
- EMR: EPIC preferred
- **All providers will be required to work NORA**
- Skills required: Intubation, Central Line, Arterial line, Line Placement. Not likely needed to do blocks. No OB.
- Hospital (Level 1 Trauma Center)
- Board Certification: NBCRNA
- State license required: Yes, State of KY – open to licensing
