- Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:30a 3:30p COVERAGE DATES
- July 6, 2026 September 30, 2026
- Full-time schedule available (5 days per week)
- Flexible scheduling options available including 24 shifts per week
PATIENT INFORMATION
- Patient Demographics: Adult patients
- Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 46 surgical cases per day
- Patient Volume for GI Endoscopy: Approximately 1012 cases per day
- Case Mix: Orthopedic, ENT, General Surgery, Gynecology, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, and GI Endoscopy
FACILITY INFORMATION
- EMR System: Epic
- Office Equipment Available: Standard anesthesia equipment
- Specialty Backup Available: Anesthesiologists on site
- Support Staff Available: Multidisciplinary OR team including surgeons, anesthesia staff, nurses, and technicians
- Reason for Coverage: Supplemental anesthesia coverage
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES
- Administration of anesthesia for orthopedic procedures
- Administration of anesthesia for ENT and general surgery cases
- Administration of anesthesia for gynecology and plastic surgery procedures
- Administration of anesthesia for podiatry and GI endoscopy procedures
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active New York CRNA License
- Board: National Board Certification required for CRNA
- Certifications: Standard anesthesia and life support certifications as required by facility
- Experience: Prior hospital-based anesthesia experience preferred
- Other Qualifications: Ability to work collaboratively within a supervised anesthesia care team
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide anesthesia services for scheduled surgical procedures
- Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical specialties including orthopedics, ENT, general surgery, and GI endoscopy
- Work under the supervision of anesthesiologists within a collaborative anesthesia care model
- Assist in maintaining safe anesthesia practices throughout perioperative care
- Document anesthesia care accurately within Epic EMR
