DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
- Job Type: Locum Tenens
- Location: Simpsonville, SC
- Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient
- Coverage Type: Clinical + Call
- Coverage Period: 06/01/2026 Ongoing
- Clinical Shift Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts (7a 5p) or 5 x 8-hour shifts (7a 3p)
- On-Call Shift Schedule: Weekday home call 3p 7a; 24-hour weekend call
- Call Type: Home Call
- Call Ratio: Approximately once every 12 weeks
- Call Response Time: 3045 minutes COVERAGE DATES
- Ongoing coverage beginning June 1, 2026
PATIENT INFORMATION
- Patient Demographics: Adolescents and Adults (approximately ages 15100)
- Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 200 cases
- Case Mix: General Surgery, OB/GYN, ENT, Orthopedics and other routine anesthesia cases
FACILITY INFORMATION
- EMR System: Epic
- Office Equipment Available: Standard anesthesia equipment
- Specialty Backup Available: Surgical and hospital specialty support teams
- Support Staff Available: One Anesthesia Technician
- Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage to maintain anesthesia staffing schedule
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
- Temporary Privileges Available: No
- Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 4 months with active SC license; 56 months if license required

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active South Carolina CRNA License
- Board: NBCRNA Certification Required
- DEA: Active DEA Certification
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience required
- Other Qualifications: CSR registration required, Epic EMR experience preferred, clean malpractice history, mandatory vaccines per facility policy
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures
- Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia administration
- Provide perioperative patient care and pain management
- Participate in rotating clinical and call schedules with anesthesia team
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
