CRNA - Anesthesiology - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Connecticut

Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: 8hr shift 07:00 to 3:30pm, 5 days per week. Opportunity to make overtime pay if willing to stay past 3:30pm. No Call Required, but optional if desired!
• Job Setting: Hospital System, 5 anesthesia sites. Practice model: 4 MDs and 3 CRNAs. Supervision ratio is 1/2.5
• Types of Cases: General and colorectal, OB&GYN, URO, Orthopedics, Cataracts, pacemakers, cardioversions, TEE and GI. No heads/neuro, no traumas, no open hearts. Locums CRNAs will not have to do peds
• Credentialing: If CT license is in hand - 30-60 days. No CT license - 60-120 days
• Additional Benefits: $15K ONE TIME COMPLETION BONUS (520 hours worked within 17 consecutive weeks). Increased rate offered for FT providers! Car Rental/Mileage Stipend- $250/weekly. Lodging/Housing Stipend- $110/Daily

Minimum Requirements

• Certifications: Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
• Licensure: Current license as a registered professional nurse and complies with any applicable state statutory or requirements concerning the advanced practice of nursing
• Education: Graduation from a program of nurse anesthesia education accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) or its predecessor
