- Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – General (Locum Tenens)
- Location: Saint Augustine, FL 32086 (Northeast Florida)
- Setting: Ambulatory surgery center (ASC) with affiliated hospital sites
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: February 13, 2026
- End Date: May 15, 2026
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, Days (7:00 AM–3:00 PM); predictable weekday schedule
- Shift Duration: 8-hour days (5x8s), 40 hours/week
- Call/Weekends: None — no call, no weekends
- Openings: 3
- EMR: SIS (surgery center), Cerner (hospital sites)
- Weekly Estimated Pay Range: $7,390–$7,790 per week
- Credentialing Timeline: Average credentialing process is approximately 90 days
Job Requirements – CRNA Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience required; must be able to provide 24 months of case logs
- Licensure: Active Florida CRNA/RN license required at time of application
- Certifications: Board Certified CRNA; BLS and ACLS required
- Candidate Eligibility: Only out-of-state candidates accepted for this locum tenens assignment; must provide a copy of an out-of-state driver’s license (no other proof accepted)
- Prior Site Employment: Candidates must not have worked at this site or any affiliated site within the past 24 months
- Geographic Requirement: Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the site AND be out-of-state candidates providing an out-of-state driver’s license (no other proof accepted)
- Availability: Must be available for ~20 shifts per month (full-time, Monday–Friday)
Primary Responsibilities – Anesthesia Care & Perioperative Collaboration
- Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care across a variety of surgical cases with emphasis on orthopedic anesthesia, including total joint cases using spinal anesthesia
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia plans
- Manage induction, maintenance, emergence, airway management, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Work within a care-team/medical direction model to support efficient OR flow and short turnovers
- Coordinate intraoperative communication and handoffs with perioperative, nursing, and surgical teams
- Accurately document anesthesia care in SIS and/or Cerner per site standards
