We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a high-performing anesthesia team in Charleston, SC. This role offers the chance to work in a major academic Level I trauma center while providing anesthesia care across a variety of complex surgical specialties.

β¨ Practice in a large academic medical center
β¨ Work within a Medically Directed Anesthesia Care Team
β¨ Exposure to a wide range of surgical specialties
β¨ Collaborate with a highly experienced team of CRNAs and anesthesiologists
β¨ Utilize Epic EMR for efficient documentation
β° Schedule
π Start Date: May 4, 2026 (ASAP once credentialed)
π
Assignment Duration: Minimum 3 months with option to extend
β³ Shift Length: 13.5-hour shifts
π Shift Options:

6:00 AM β 7:30 PM
-
8:00 AM β 9:30 PM
π½ Includes 30-minute unpaid lunch break
π Some weekend shifts may be required
π Call: No call required
π₯ Clinical Responsibilities
πΉ Provide anesthesia care for complex surgical procedures
πΉ Work within a medically directed anesthesia model
πΉ Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia administration
πΉ Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR teams
πΉ Document patient care using Epic EMR
π¬ Case Variety
CRNAs will see a broad range of surgical specialties, including:
π§ Neuro and Spine Surgery
𦴠Orthopedic Procedures
π Oncology Surgeries
π ENT Procedures
π©Ί GYN and Urology
π€ Robotic Surgeries
π₯ Burn and Trauma Cases
π Average Case Volume:

No Cardiac Cases

π₯ Level I Academic Trauma Center
π 21 operating room suites covering multiple specialties
π§ββοΈ Collaborative anesthesia team with 40+ CRNAs
π¬ Additional anesthesia coverage in non-operating room locations, including:

CT
-
MRI
-
Bronchoscopy
-
Neuro-Angiography
-
Interventional Radiology
Providers may rotate between the main hospital and ambulatory surgical locations based on scheduling needs.
β Requirements
β Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
β Minimum 3+ years of anesthesia experience
β Active South Carolina license or currently in process
β Strong proficiency with Epic EMR
β Ability to provide full-time coverage
π Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from Charleston, SC per facility guidelines.

β Orientation provided for hospital modules and Epic training to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
