We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a high-performing anesthesia team in Charleston, SC. This role offers the chance to work in a major academic Level I trauma center while providing anesthesia care across a variety of complex surgical specialties.

✨ Work within a Medically Directed Anesthesia Care Team
✨ Exposure to a wide range of surgical specialties
✨ Collaborate with a highly experienced team of CRNAs and anesthesiologists
✨ Utilize Epic EMR for efficient documentation

⏰ Schedule

πŸ—“ Start Date: May 4, 2026 (ASAP once credentialed)
πŸ“… Assignment Duration: Minimum 3 months with option to extend
⏳ Shift Length: 13.5-hour shifts
πŸ•• Shift Options:

  • 6:00 AM – 7:30 PM

  • 8:00 AM – 9:30 PM
    🍽 Includes 30-minute unpaid lunch break
    πŸ“… Some weekend shifts may be required
    πŸ“ž Call: No call required

πŸ₯ Clinical Responsibilities

πŸ”Ή Provide anesthesia care for complex surgical procedures
πŸ”Ή Work within a medically directed anesthesia model
πŸ”Ή Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia administration
πŸ”Ή Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR teams
πŸ”Ή Document patient care using Epic EMR

πŸ”¬ Case Variety

CRNAs will see a broad range of surgical specialties, including:

🧠 Neuro and Spine Surgery
🦴 Orthopedic Procedures
πŸŽ— Oncology Surgeries
πŸ‘‚ ENT Procedures
🩺 GYN and Urology
πŸ€– Robotic Surgeries
πŸ”₯ Burn and Trauma Cases

πŸ“Š Average Case Volume:

  • 3–5 cases per day

🚫 Exclusions

  • No Obstetrics

  • No Regional Blocks

  • No Cardiac Cases

πŸ₯ Facility Environment

πŸ₯ Level I Academic Trauma Center
πŸ› 21 operating room suites covering multiple specialties
πŸ§‘β€βš•οΈ Collaborative anesthesia team with 40+ CRNAs
πŸ”¬ Additional anesthesia coverage in non-operating room locations, including:

  • CT

  • MRI

  • Bronchoscopy

  • Neuro-Angiography

  • Interventional Radiology

Providers may rotate between the main hospital and ambulatory surgical locations based on scheduling needs.

βœ” Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
βœ” Minimum 3+ years of anesthesia experience
βœ” Active South Carolina license or currently in process
βœ” Strong proficiency with Epic EMR
βœ” Ability to provide full-time coverage

πŸ“ Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from Charleston, SC per facility guidelines.

βœ” Orientation provided for hospital modules and Epic training to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
