UMH Ionia is seeking a locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide independent anesthesia services for general surgical and endoscopy procedures. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule with no call requirements, making it ideal for providers seeking a stable locum assignment.
Position Details

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Call: None

Practice Setting: Hospital OR and Endoscopy Suite

Supervision: Independent practice with remote anesthesiologist supervision

Average Cases: ~15 per day

Operating Rooms: 2 ORs + 1 Endoscopy Room

Patient Population: Pediatric to Geriatric

Trauma Level: Level IV
-
Annual ER Volume: ~16,000

EMR: Epic
Required Procedures

General surgical anesthesia (adult & pediatric)

Minor nerve blocks

IV regional anesthesia

Plexus anesthesia

Spinal anesthesia

Epidural anesthesia

Regional anesthesia

Ventilation management

Local infiltration
Requirements
-
Board Certified CRNA (AANA)

Active Michigan license
-
BLS and ACLS certifications
-
Local providers only (mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate)

NPDB self-query within 30 days

Clean malpractice and license history preferred
Additional Information

Pay - $200 per hour

Orientation: Paid at ½ hourly rate

Holiday rate: 1.5x hourly
