We are looking for dedicated professionals to join our team at a small community hospital, where your expertise will directly contribute to delivering exceptional anesthesia care across diverse cases. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide anesthesia services for a variety of procedures including orthopedics, spine, gynecology, ophthalmology, plastic surgery, and general surgeries
- Support out-of-OR cases such as GI, CV/TEE, and MRI coverage
- Manage anesthesia for patients aged 12 and older, with a focus on adult care
- Handle general anesthesia, spine, ventilator management, and evaluation/management of acute volume and blood pressure issues
- Perform arterial line placements and other related procedures
- Collaborate within a medical-directed ACT model with a 4:1 patient-to-CRNA ratio
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient records
Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina RN license required; must have a clean background—no exceptions
- Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia experience in a clinical setting
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association
- Ability to work a consistent M-F schedule, 40 hours/week, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Strong clinical skills in general anesthesia, spine, ventilator management, and vascular access procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a community hospital setting
- Familiarity with outpatient surgery center operations
- Knowledge of Epic EMR system
- Ability to adapt to diverse patient populations and procedures
Additional Requirements:
- Active South Carolina licensure and certification
- Willingness to work day shifts in a small hospital environment
- Travel and other reimbursements when applicable
- Expedited credentialing process preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Pay Rate: $239.46
