• Rotating schedule including day shifts
• On-call and weekend coverage required
• Travel between multiple clinical locations within the health system

👩‍⚕️ Position Overview

The CRNA will play a vital role in delivering safe, effective anesthesia care while working closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams. This role involves managing patients throughout the entire perioperative process—from preoperative assessment to post-anesthesia recovery.

✨ Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive preoperative patient assessments
• Develop individualized anesthesia care plans
• Administer anesthesia for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures
• Monitor patient status and anesthesia depth during procedures
• Manage intraoperative care and respond to patient needs
• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care and pain management
• Maintain accurate documentation within EPIC EMR
• Travel to various care locations within the system as needed
• Follow hospital credentialing, quality, and safety standards
• Support departmental coverage needs when required
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and care teams

✅ Qualifications

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Active Michigan RN License
• NBCRNA Certification
• BLS and ACLS Certifications
• DEA and CSR/CDS (required prior to start)
• Clean malpractice and licensing history
• Experience practicing as a CRNA (new graduates not eligible)
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and on-call coverage
