• Position: Locum Tenens CRNA – General Anesthesia (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist)
• Location: Reidsville, North Carolina (27320) — Greensboro area / North Carolina nursing jobs
• Start Date: March 16, 2026
• Assignment Length: 42 weeks (through January 2, 2027)
• Shifts per Week: 5
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts (occasional 10-hour shifts as needed)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Practice Model: Medical supervision (4–6 CRNAs and 1 MD per day)
• Facility Size: 110-bed community hospital
• EMR: Epic (Epic anesthesia documentation experience preferred)
• Case Volume: ~4,900 cases/year — general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, GI
• Call/Trauma/OB: None

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years as a CRNA; general anesthesia experience preferred
• Current CRNA certification and ability to meet facility credentialing and privileging requirements
• Proficiency in regional anesthesia and peripheral nerve blocks: adductor canal, TAP, interscalene, supraclavicular, popliteal
• Comfortable with Epic EMR documentation and perioperative anesthesia workflows
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-based approach to patient care
• Willingness to work both 8-hour and occasional 10-hour shifts as scheduled

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality general and regional anesthesia care for a variety of surgical cases (CRNA responsibilities, perioperative anesthesia)
• Perform ultrasound-guided and landmark-based regional nerve blocks for perioperative pain management
• Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans
• Monitor patients intraoperatively, manage emergence, and provide post-anesthesia care
• Document all care accurately in Epic EMR and adhere to clinical protocols
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, CRNAs, nursing, and perioperative teams in a medical supervision model
• Maintain compliance with patient safety standards, infection control, and institutional policies
